Zoom Service Accounts and License Add-Ons

If employees need to share administrative access (registration processing, scheduling, etc.) to a UW-Madison Zoom account they can request a Zoom Service Account. If the service account owners will be hosting a large meeting or webinar with 500 participants or more they should additionally request a License Add On for the service account.

Zoom Access for Service Accounts

UW-Madison Zoom - Service Account Request

Zoom Service accounts are the only way to administratively share access to a Zoom account within the UW Madison Zoom instance. This feature allows you to share responsibilities for things such as registration processing, meeting configuration and scheduling.

Tony Roman is the contact person for any basic service accounts. Should the user request Zoom access at that time, Tony will follow DoIT’s instructions and submit the request for Zoom access to the service account.

For existing service accounts, please use the Zoom Service Account request form:

(Note that if this Service account requires a temporary licenses add on for Large Meeting 500/1000 or Webinar 500/1000, they should not request that as part of the above form. Instead, they should submit a second request via the License Add On form listed below. This helps to properly manage these licenses on DoIT’s side)
