- Some plans have additional requirements.
- New employees should complete benefits enrollment within their first 30 days!

Background
With your supervisor, you will develop and implement performance goals based on Extension’s highest priority work as reflected in your Department, Institute, or service unit’s plan of work. New employee’s goal setting conversations should be done within 30 days of his/her start date. These goal setting conversations should cover major duties of the job, work priorities, and how work will be evaluated. Date of the conversation, goals, and expectations must be documented in the Performance Management & Development Program (PMDP) and acknowledged by you.

- Complete Expectation and Goal-Setting Conversation within 30 days of your start date.
