Collecting Asset Data
1. Login to the GO Work Management app.
2. Enter the Asset Number into the Search assets field.
3. Tap on the arrow next to the desired Asset. If the Asset you want is not in the list, go through the steps in the Adding a New Asset section of this cheat sheet.

5. Tap on Edit
6. Type the QR code for the Asset in the Replacement Tag field, OR
tap
next to the Replacement tag field and scan the QR code of the Asset, if one is present.
7. Type and update extra info, if available, into the Location and Status fields. NOTE: Once an asset has been created and saved you cannot alter the Type or Asset Group.
8. Type additional info, if available, into the Model, Serial Number, Attributes, Coordinates, and Extra Description fields.
9. Tap
to add a profile picture of the Asset.
10. Tap Done.
11. Tap Documents.
12. Tap
to add relevant pictures of the Asset to the Related Documents for the Asset. This could include things like pictures of the Serial Number or Model Number.
13. Tap on Take Photo to take the photo you want to add to the Related Documents to the Asset.
14. Tap
to add more related pictures as needed.
15. To create a new Asset in the database, tap
at the Asset Scan screen.
16. You will be taken to the Asset Basics screen in order to add the new Asset to the database. An Asset Number will be generated for you automatically.
17. Type or dictate the name of the Asset. The name will be displayed when other people search for the Asset so ensure the name is clear and accurate.
18. Continue to enter more information into the Asset Basics screen for the Asset you are adding to the database. If you try and save too early you will be instructed to fill out any required fields you have left blank.
19. If the Asset has a QR code sticker to scan, scan it after tapping on
next to the Replacement Tag field in the Asset Basics screen.
20. Finish by entering information into the Asset Basics screen for the Asset you are adding to the database, including a profile picture of the Asset by tapping on
21. Once you are done filling out all information available for the Asset, tap Save. NOTE: Once an asset has been created and saved you cannot alter the Type or Asset Group.
22. Tap Done.
23. You will be taken back to the Asset Scan screen. Once the asset you just added is approved by the Preventive Maintenance admin, scan or search for the Asset you just added then proceed to add relevant photos in the Documents tab.
