Space Management Module

The Space Management module is one of the core tools within CSI, providing access to interactive floor plans, detailed space views, and tabular reports that help users view, analyze, and manage space data across UW–Madison’s facilities.

Three Ways to Interact with Campus Space Information:

Sites / Floor Plan Graphic Views

Use Floor Plan Graphic Views on the Homepage or use the Floor Plan Icon to select Sites in the Space Management module to:

  • Interact with floor plans, including basic, color-coded, and annotated views
  • Click on individual rooms to access basic room information
  • Print or export floor plans to PDF

Views

Use Views on the Homepage or use the Floor Plan Icon to select Views in the Space Management module to:

  • Access detailed space data for individual facilities, floors, and rooms in a clickable format
  • Quickly move between tabular data and graphic floor plans for an integrated view
  • For additional training resources see links to Finding a Facility, Finding a Room, and Refining Views.

Reports

Use Reports on the Homepage or use the floor plan icon to select Reports in the Space Management module to:

  • Access large amounts of facility, floor and room data in tabular format.
  • Export data to Excel or PDF.
