List or Schedule Default View in the EMS

Change the default view to a list view from a calendar view in the EMS.

The results when searching for a space to reserve can be displayed as a schedule/calendar view or as a list.  The default view is the schedule/calendar view, but individual users can set their default preference for a group template (a group of rooms/workspaces) to display as a list by following the steps below.  

  1. Login to the EMS website and select your name and then “My Account” in the upper right-hand corner.  

  1. Select the “Personalization” tab near the left-hand side of the page.  

  1. Select the “Templates” button near the center of the page.  

  1. Select the edit icon (square with a blue pencil) next to the template to be edited. Please note that available templates for editing are based on the division/department in which you work.

On the resulting template editing page, change the default results view by following these next steps:

  1. Select the "List" radio button to choose a list view as default for reservation search results. 
  2. At the bottom of the page, select the "Save Changes" button to save the updated preference.

To edit another template, select the edit icon (square with a blue pencil) next to the template you would next like to update.
