How to fix Microscope "Green Screen"

If you are experiencing a "Green Screen" effect with one of the Microscopes in Rm270.  Please follow the procedures below.

  1. Locate the Leica Remote pictured below.
  2. Make sure the Microscope, Microscope Camera, and Dell Monitor are all powered on.  You should see the image on the Dell Monitor and experience the "Green Screen".
  3. Point the Leica Remote at the Microscope Camera sensor located in the picture below.
  4. Click the "WB" White Balance button and watch the message on the screen.  It should state the the mode has saved and it's ready.  The "Green Screen" should now be resolved.
  5. If you still experience the "Green Screen" follow the setups above again. 
  6. If you have tried these steps multiple times and still experiencing these issues contact Josh Benish in the IT department.
