Starting on April 7, individuals who visit the Wisc Account Administration site will be required to log in with a NetID and password. WiscMail Plus users will be most affected by this change. An overview of the new login process is available here.
New login process
Beginning 4/7, customers who visit https://wiscmail.wisc.edu/admin will be automatically redirected to the NetID login screen.
After logging in, they will have the opportunity to select their desired account from the Delegated Administration menu within the Wisc Account Administration site, if they have administrative access to any accounts or resources other than their netid@wisc.edu account. Users without administrative access to any other accounts or resources will not notice any change.
If a customer has not linked their WiscMail Plus account to their NetID, they can log in with a WiscMail Plus email address and password at https://wiscmail.wisc.edu/admin/mailplus. However, it is recommended that they link their WiscMail Plus account to their NetID, as this will need to happen before the account can be migrated to Office 365. Instructions for linking are available here.
For a more detailed description of the new login process, see: Wisc Account Administration site - Logging in
Old login process
The old log in process allowed users to choose whether to log in with a NetID and password OR a WiscMail Plus email address and password.
If they opted to log in with NetID and password, they would have the opportunity to select accounts that are linked to their NetID from the linked account login screen.
