Graduate Admissions: Graduate Application Status Check

Brief overview of the Graduate Application Status Check web page

Example of the Status Check web page for an applicant. The top of the Status Check page includes the student's application ID, Campus ID, Submit Date, and Term. The Status Check page also show several sections, including Program Checklist, Review Progress, Graduate School Messages, and System Email History.

The online Status Check is a web-based application which applicants can follow their admission status. It is part of the Applicant Review system.  Applicants see a "user-friendly" version of the action descriptions edited by the Graduate School.

You can check the status of your application in the application portal.  Go back to and click the Applicant Center link at the top of the page to check on test scores and personal information, and the 'Review Status' button for other important details.

If you are new to UW, please click on "Activate my NetID" through My UW at  You will be asked to enter your date of birth and your Campus ID Number: {{CAMPUS_ID}}

If you were previously issued a NetID you will not need to activate it again.
