Graduate School Faculty Review Committees

The Graduate School appoints faculty review committees for selected internal fellowship competitions.

The Graduate School appoints faculty review committees for its internal fellowship and graduate student support competitions, with the exception of a few very limited fellowship opportunities.  The competitions for which we appoint faculty review committees include: the Graduate Student Support Competition, which awards University Fellowships, rotation stipends, and recruiting funds through a block grant process; the Mellon-Wisconsin Fellowships; the Bouchet Graduate Honors Society; and Collaborative Recruitment Grants.  The Graduate School works to appoint review committees that reflect all dimensions of the diversity of our programs.  Faculty are recused from reviewing applications from their own programs.

For additional information on the appointment and work of these faculty review committees, contact the Associate Dean responsible for funding in the Graduate School.
