Below are the steps to remotely remove the AIMS VPN context from a computer that still has it as default. This setting is assigned by the users profile settings and must be removed using this method. 

Step 1. Log into the client computer using Bomgar, and connect to the Registry Access Tab

Step 2. Access the Settings directory under Global Protect and select the LastUrl REG_SZ

Step 3. Right click LastUrl and select Modify

Step 4. Change aims.vpn.wisc.edu to uwmadison.vpn.wisc.edu and press OK

Step 5. Delete the aims.vpn.wisc.edu directory
