Former student eligibility policy and deactivation timeline for Google Workspace
This timeline includes changes to the following IT Services:
-
Access to the UW-Madison Google Workspace service via @wisc.edu accounts
Your university status has changed or will change due to the following:
-
You have completed your degree program and graduated from the university
or -
You are no longer enrolled as a student with the university
Because your university affiliation is changing, your eligibility for IT services provided by UW-Madison will also change. You will continue to be eligible for UW-Madison Google Workspace for a 6-month grace period after graduating or leaving the university. This grace period is designed to give you time to get your files and data moved to a new personal or professional account. After the 6-month grace period ends, you will no longer have access to the UW-Madison Google Workspace service, and your account will enter a 90-day deactivation process.
