My UW-Madison - Applicant Access
This document explains applicant access to MyUW, including what they are eligible for, how to activate their NetID, and contact information for each of the admitting offices.
As an applicant, you are eligible to activate a NetID and have access to a limited view of the My UW-Madison portal. You have access to the Student Center to check your financial aid, residency and personal contact information.
You must first activate your NetID at https://www.mynetid.wisc.edu/activate. You will need your campus ID number, which should have been sent with your admissions materials, to activate your NetID. If you are unsure of your campus ID number, contact your admitting office. See below for a list of the admissions office phone numbers.
