Microsoft 365 (Outlook for Windows) - Remove an Outlook Profile

This document will instruct you on how to remove an Outlook profile when using classic version of Outlook - ability to add/remove a profile in new Outlook is currently not available. This is a common troubleshooting step that we often recommend customers do when they are experiencing issues using an Outlook client and need to recreate their profile.
  1. Ensure that your Outlook client is closed.
  2. Click the Start button and search for Control Panel.

  3. Search for Mail.

  4. Click on Mail application.
  5. A new window will open. In this window click Show Profiles....

    Click Show Profiles

  6. From the list of profiles, select the profile you would like to remove and click Remove and then click Ok

    Click Remove Then Click Ok
