This document details the procedure for installing Mastercam on a Windows computer.
Guide to Installing Mastercam
- Mastercam delivers a powerful set of industry-standard and teaching aids for CAD/CAM software that can live up to the increasing demands of the classroom.
System Installation Requirements
- Windows 7, 8, or 10 64-bit professional
- Intel or AMD 64-bit processor, 2.4GHz or faster
- 8GB of RAM
- At least 20GB of free storage space
Installation Procedure
- Start Windows (Boot up the computer).
- Locate the "mastercam2017-hle-web.exe" file that you downloaded from the Campus Software Library and double click on it to open it. It should look similar to the file below.
- You may be prompted by User Account Control - just click the "Yes" button to continue.
- The Installation window will now appear. Leave all fields as they are by default (unless you want to change the installation location - in that case click the configure button and change the destination folder), and click the "Next" button to continue.
- Accept the terms of the license agreement, and then click the "Next" button to start the installation.
- Once the installation has finished, you should be shown the window below. Ensure that the "Launch Mastercam On Exit" box is checked, and then click the "Exit" button. The program will now launch for the first time.
- Another license agreement window should appear. Ensure the checkbox on the bottom left corner is checked, and then click the "Continue" button.
- Mastercam has now successfully been installed on your computer.
