iOS - Locating the MAC Address

Step by step instructions for locating the MAC/WiFi address of an iOS device such as an iPhone or iPad.

  1. Locate and open the Settings app.

    Find the Settings gear icon on your Home Page.

  2. Tap General.

    General is the 9th option in the main page of Settings.

  3. Tap About.

    About is the first option in the General tab.

  4. Note the current WiFi MAC address is listed by WiFi Address

    Wi-Fi Address is the 13th option down and is highlighted to show the phone's individual address to the right of the text label.

If you are experiencing issues in using this MAC address, it may be because your device is using a randomized MAC address. Look at Campus Network (iOS 14) - Private Wi-Fi Address on UWNet to disable this feature.
