Office 365 - Outlook on the Web outage

Some users are unable to log into Outlook on the web via multiple browsers.

When logging into Outlook on the web, you may see the following issue:

  • Error: Something went wrong
  • The Outlook logo will attempt to load but will not take you to your Inbox.

Microsoft case has been opened.

2/17/17 @11am status: This issue seems to have been intermittent - users are no longer experiencing the problem.

2/15/17 1:00 PM status: The users that have responded state that they can now access their account via Outlook on the web without any errors. We are still waiting for some users to respond. The Office 365 team or Microsoft did not make any changes. The outage is being closed but we will continue to monitor this issue until all users who were experiencing this issue have responded.

2/14/17 @3pm - status: We are waiting for responses from other affected users. Next update will be at 3pm on 2/15/17.

2/13/17 @3pm - status: One user who was experiencing this issue over the weekend is now able to successfully log into their account via Outlook on the web. We are waiting for responses from other affected users. Next update will be 3pm on 2/14/17.

2/13/17 @9am - status: We continue to work with Microsoft in troubleshooting this issue.

The only workaround is to use a desktop or mobile client.
