Kiosk - Frozen Screen
The Kiosks are maintained by the DoIT's Repair and Departmental Support department. They have posted instructions for rebooting the Kiosks at every station on campus.
If a kiosk is frozen, click on the LogOut icon (shown below) at the bottom or right of the screen.
If this does not work, do the following to secure your personal data. Only do this if you cannot click on the LogOut icon!
- Locate the power button, located on the back of the left side (as you are looking at the machine)
- Hold the power button down for 5-10 seconds. This should power the machine off, and secure your personal data.
- Call the DoIT Help Desk at 264-HELP (264-4357) and inform them that you had to take these steps.
