Background

The Campus Software Library (CSL) is a central campus software library that provides faculty, staff and students access to productivity, research and utility software titles that are site licensed by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. For a list of software available through the CSL, see Software Available to Faculty/Staff and Students on Campus Software Library.

Support Conditions

  • While all licensed software will be available to faculty and staff, only certain applications will be licensed for student use.
  • Most software is only licensed for installation on university-owned devices.
  • DoIT provides support for issues with download and installation only; functional support is provided by the vendor unless otherwise indicated.
