Campus Software Library - Service Description
This document gives an overview of the Campus Software Library.
Background
The Campus Software Library (CSL) is a central campus software library that provides faculty, staff and students access to productivity, research and utility software titles that are site licensed by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Support Conditions
There are several restrictions on the acquisition and use of Campus Software Library applications:
- While all licensed software will be available to faculty and staff, only certain applications will be licensed for student use.
- Most software is only licensed for installation on university-owned devices.
- DoIT provides support for issues with download and installation only; functional support is provided by the vendor unless otherwise indicated.
