NetID - What a NetID Password Change May Affect

Changing your NetID password will affect your access to any system that your NetID is used to access. You will need to use your newly set password in place of your old one in the following systems:

  • Box
  • Campus Active Directory authentication
  • e-Reimbursement
  • Google Apps
  • HRS (Human Resources System)
  • Interactive Reporting
  • SIS (Student Information System)
  • Learn@UW / Desire2Learn
  • Manifest
  • MyUW
  • SFS (Shared Financial System)
  • SharedDrive mappings (departmental network drives)
  • Web PhoneManager (voice mail via web)
  • WiscChat
  • WiscMail and WiscCal
    • Outlook
    • Thunderbird
    • iPhone / iPad Saved Passwords
    • Android Saved Passwords
    • Windows Phone Saved Passwords
  • Wisconsin Federated Login
  • WiscVPN

Please note that your WiscMail Plus password is independent of your NetID / WiscMail password.
