Office 365 (Apple Mail) - Forward a Message
This document contains instructions on using a non-Microsoft email client, such as Apple Mail or Thunderbird. Microsoft does not recommend these clients for use with Office 365, and there are often significant limitations in client functionality as a result. Because of this, the DoIT Help Desk is only able to offer best effort support for these clients, and certain issues may require the use of a Microsoft client in order to be resolved. This document explains how to forward a message using Apple Mail. These instructions are for Mac OS 10.9, but are likely to be similar for Mac OS 10.5-8.
To forward a message:
- In the message list, select one or more messages to forward.
- On the top of the message list, click Forward Selected. A new message will appear.
- Note that if you mouse over the message header, you can find the same option.

- In the To or Cc fields, enter the names or email addresses of the people you want to forward the message to.
- Add any other information that you want in the message, such as a quick note explaining why you're forwarding it.
- Click Send Message in the upper left.
