Windows 10 - Accessing the Command Prompt

This document describes methods for accessing the command prompt in Windows 10.

Accessing the Command Prompt from the Desktop:

  1. In the search bar or search icon on the bottom left of the desktop, begin typing Command Prompt. Once You see the Command Prompt option, click it.

    Searching for Command Prompt

  2. You are now in the Command Prompt.
