Database Management - Changing the Oracle Database Password (includes EPM)

Here are 3 methods for changing or resetting the password for an Oracle database. You will need to know the existing password.

Note: Interactive Reporting, including both the IR Workspace (web) and the Studio Desktop client, will be decommissioned on March 1st, 2019. Neither the web nor the desktop software will be available or supported after this date.

UW-Madison affiliates can find more information on alternative tools on the Office of Data Management and Analytics Services website.

Method 1: Using Interactive Reporting

  1. Open Interactive Reporting
  2. The path will be: Workspace > Madison > InfoAccess > Acceptance Datamodel.bqy
  3. Right-click the blank query
