Housing Supervisor's How-To Guide: How to sign up staff for Kiosk Trainings & User Account Creation Process
First, All new full time housing staff must have a housing email account which means that before you can sign-up your staff member for a housing email account AND for a Kiosk training they must have their NetID.
Here is the process to apply for Housing Email and Scheduling Kiosk Trainings:
#1. Employee MUST have NetID prior to kiosk training. Supervisor should work with employee (and interpreter if needed) to set up their NetID. Make sure employee remembers their NetID & their password.
Notes: - They need to give you their NetID – not their password.
For information on how and where to get a NETID: http://helpdesk.doit.wisc.edu/page.php?id=1140#facstaff
#2. Once you have their NetID, complete the New User Request Form (This must be done 2 weeks before you want the account created):
#3. Once the request for the employee’s Housing email has been submitted, sign the employee up for Kiosk training: http://support.housing.wisc.edu/_layouts/15/start.aspx#/Lists/ITTrainingSignup/AllItems.aspx
