UWSC Support -- My UW System Portal - Customizing Modules, Content, and Layout
This document describes how to add and move modules in the My UW-System portal.
- Depending on your classification (faculty, staff, instructor, student, adviser, applicant) you may not have access to all available modules. If you do not have access to a module that you feel you should be able to access, contact your supervisor or HR office to determine if the module is one that is available to your classification.
Add a New Module
Click the Ellipsis button at the top left of the page and then click Browse apps.
The following view will appear on your screen. You can sort/browse the list of available apps from A-Z, type what you are searching for, or view the most popular apps.
When you see the module you would like to add or launch, click either Launch or +Add To Home.
Clicking Launch will open the app.
Clicking Add to Home will add the app to your MyUW portal home page.
Mouse over the title bar of the module you want to move, then click and hold the mouse button down.
While still holding the mouse button down, drag the module to where you would like to place it.
Release the mouse button and the module will be dropped into your desired location.
If you would like to remove an app from your MyUW Home page, hover over the app on your home page and click the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the app.
