Procedure Steps

You can edit an existing emergency contact, add a new emergency contact, delete an emergency contact, or change which emergency contact is designated as your primary contact.


Add an Emergency Contact

  1. Click the Change Emergency Contacts button
  2. Click Add an Emergency Contact button.

  3. In Contact Name field, enter a Name using Last Name, First Name. This will ensure that emergency contact list will be in alphabetical order.

  4. Click or unclick check boxes indicating Contact has the same Address / Telephone # as employee, if applicable.
  5. Edit Address Link to change Address, if Address is not the same as employees, if applicable.
  6. Enter a 10 digit Phone Number in the Telephone field, if Telephone Number is no the same as employees.
  7. Add an additional Phone Number by clicking the Add a Phone Number button.
    1. Click the down arrow under Phone Type to designate a Phone Type for new number.
    2. Click in the Telephone field and enter 10 digit number.
  8. Delete Additional Phone Number by clicking the delete button if applicable.
  9. Click the SAVE button. Successful Save page appears.

  10. Click OK button.
  11. Click Return to Personal Information Link.

  1. Click the Change Emergency Contacts button
  2. Edit an Emergency Contact by clicking the Edit button.
  3. Click or unclick check boxes indicating Contact has the same Address / Telephone # as employee, if applicable.
  4. Edit Address Link to change Address, if Address is not the same as employees, if applicable.
  5. Enter a 10 digit Phone Number in the Telephone field, if Telephone Number is no the same as employees.
  6. Add an additional Phone Number by clicking the Add a Phone Number button.
    1. Click the down arrow under Phone Type to designate a Phone Type for new number.
    2. Click in the Telephone field and enter 10 digit number.
  7. Delete Additional Phone Number by clicking the delete button, if applicable.
  8. Click the SAVE button. Successful Save page appears.

  9. Click OK button.
  10. Review Primary Contact change.

Delete an Emergency Contact

  1. Click the Change Emergency Contacts button
  2. Delete an Emergency Contact by clicking the Delete button.

  3. Delete confirmation page appears, click Yes - Delete if you intend to delete the contact listed, or No - Do Not Delete if you've selected the incorrect contact.

Designate an Emergency Contact as "Primary"

  1. Click the Change Emergency Contacts button
  2. Click the Change Primary Contact button
  3. Click the down arrow, on the name field.

  4. Select different name for Primary contact.
  5. Click the SAVE button. Successful Save page appears.

  6. Click OK button.
  7. Review Primary Contact change.

  8. Click Return to Personal Information Link.
