Description of the University of Wisconsin Health Services and Care Research Program
The Health Services and Care Research (HSCR) Program seeks to improve the health and quality of life of patients and caregivers within Wisconsin and beyond through
- high-impact transformational research on care policy, processes and outcomes;
- rigorous development, testing and dissemination of pioneering medical care models; and
- investment in the health services research career development of faculty, affiliates and trainees of the UW Department of Medicine to promote continued research growth and success.
The HSCR Program houses an array of data resources, research infrastructure, expert consultation and career mentorship support. Areas of focus reflect the top priorities of UW Health, including healthy aging and Alzheimer’s Disease, pulmonary diseases, cardiovascular disease, health disparities and others.
This website is intended to provide information and resources for investigators with an interest in conducting health services research using HSCR resources, including requesting a consultation with one of our faculty/scientific staff and/or learning more about our Medicare and geoanalytic data resources.
