Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium (BTCRC) Reliance Fact Sheet
What is the BTCRC?
The BTCRC is a research partnership involving Big Ten institutions that is designed to advance cancer research through collaborative, hypothesis-driven, oncology trials. As part of the BTCRC initiative, an IRB reliance agreement that would allow for single IRB review of BTCRC studies is currently in progress.
Which institutions are participating in the BTCRC IRB reliance agreement?
As development of the reliance agreement is currently underway, a final list of participating institutions is not yet available. UW-Madison does, however, plan to participate.
When will the BTCRC reliance agreement be ready?
BTCRC administration is targeting fall 2015 for completion of the IRB reliance agreement and standard operating procedures. After those institutions who are interested in participating have signed the agreement, studies initiated by the BTCRC will be eligible to use the reliance agreement.
