Student achievement is influenced by many factors. This session explores the role assessment, feedback, and responsive instruction play in supporting and facilitating student learning throughout a course.

  • Identify assessment strategies that inform course design and provide useful student feedback on their learning. 
  • Review alignment of assessments with course learning outcomes.
  • Leverage active learning strategies to achieve desired learning outcomes.
  • Identify feedback approaches that inform and promote student achievement and respond to assessment results.
