It's important to know when your integration fails and why. If no email address is entered, no one will be alerted when an integration fails, which can be very disruptive if problems go unnoticed.

Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) has created a knowledgebase article located here to help you through the process of adding your email address to your tasks and task flows.
What are tasks and task flows? A task is a single integration job (for example, syncing student records to Salesforce). A task flow is a sequence of tasks that run together in a defined order. Adding your email to either one lets IDMC notify you when something succeeds or fails.

Success alerts can also be configured the same way, letting you know your integration ran without issue.
