UW Theme Classic - Embed Vimeo videos

The following document will walk you through how to embed a Vimeo video to a Page or Post in WiscWeb.

Steps

The simplest way to add a Vimeo video to a Text Block is to simply paste in the URL:

  1. Navigate to Vimeo and find the video you'd like to share
  2. Copy either the URL for the video or the share link that is included just below the video



  3. Navigate back to WiscWeb
  4. On your post or page, paste the copied URL directly into the Text Block or text editor



  5. Publish the post or page

Troubleshooting

  • The current embed options do not support some settings for your videos. For example, you may not be able to have the video start at a specific spot or show a custom thumbnail image.
