Troubleshooting 3250 (For Staff)
- Projection display issue (Description: If either of the sources do not work while selected in the console).
- Power Cycle through sources and count to 20 before trying again: Shifting the sources from Laptop to Podium PC, sometimes takes time to reflect on the projection screens and pod monitors.
- Computer monitor display settings: Check the PC/laptop display settings to confirm/check if the screens are mirror/extended. Projection screens may have black screen due to the ‘extended screen’ option selected in the particular devices if not logged in already.
- Adapters: Check the adapter functionality (specifically for Macbooks, 3rd party adapters won’t work well in projection).
- Restart system: Usually this step is the final step if all the above steps don’t work.
- Who to contact if all else fails:
- EUC Technical/Support staff located in room 2250 on the 2nd floor.
- Audio output issue (Description: The audio played in your device isn’t playing out through out audio system).
- Check the audio level on the Touch Panel.
- Check your device’s audio settings (Follow the navigation)
- For Mac users: Control panel -> Audio -> Change source from MacBook audio to Crestron system
- For Windows users: Settings -> Audio -> Sound (Change source from laptop audio to Crestron system)
- If the above steps fails - please reach out to ltghelpdesk@library.wisc.edu.
