This section explains which undergraduate degrees are offered in the College of Letters & Science.

What undergraduate degrees can I pursue in the College of Letters & Science?

The College of Letters & Science offers two basic degrees for students in the General Course and five (5) other degrees for students in special programs.  The L&S undergraduate degrees are:
  • Bachelor of Arts
  • Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Landscape Architecture*
  • Bachelor of Music*
  • Bachelor of Arts-Journalism*
  • Bachelor of Science-Journalism*
  • Bachelor of Social Work*
  • Bachelor of Science - Applied Mathematics, Engineering and Physics*
*These specialized degree programs have requirements for completion that are distinct from the L&S BA/BS requirements.  Students who complete these requirements are awarded these specialized degrees in lieu of the general Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.
