Madison Living Wage for Temporary Employees (TE)
Madison's current living wage for Temporary Employees (TE).
Per UW-Madison's TE Policy, the University established
the City of Madison's Living Wage as our minimum salary for TE
positions. The Living Wage for 2022 is increasing to $14.01/hour and
will go into effect at UW-Madison on January 2, 2022.
All TE hires with a hire date on or after January 2, 2022 must be at the new City of Madison’s Living Wage rate of $14.01.
HRS will automatically increase, via a batch program, all current TEs that need to be raised to $14.01/hr.
