WiscVPN (Windows) - Connecting to VPN Before Logon

How to connect to WiscVPN before logging in to Windows.
  1. If you are not connected to a network, establish a network connection by clicking on the internet button () on the login screen.
  2. Click on the network sign-in button ( or ) and wait for GlobalProtect to load.
  3. If prompted for a GlobalProtect portal address, enter uwmadison.vpn.wisc.edu.
  4. Enter your NetID and password.
  5. Enter a Duo MFA 6-digit code, or enter 1 and complete MFA login using a push notification on your device.
  6. Click Back, then login as you normally would to Windows.
