Individuals with UW-Madison affiliation each have two possible email addresses which share an inbox. These are NetID@wisc.edu and First.Last@wisc.edu. One of these will be set as the primary email address. By default NetID@wisc.edu is the primary email address unless it is changed by the individual. Some applications, such as Webex, require using the primary email address to sign in. These steps demonstrate how to find your primary email address.

Finding the Primary Email Adress

1. Sign in to Wisc Account Administration with your NetID and NetID password.
2. Click My Account.
3. Click Office 365 > Email Addresses.
4. The Primary Address will be listed at the top of the "Email Addresses" section, as well as in the "Alternate Addresses" sub-section.
