Storing Your Files
Law Students should make sure they back up their data while enrolled in courses and shortly after graduating.
It is recommended to take advantage of the campus subscriptions to back up your files. Using your NetID and password through SSO you can use the campus subscription to Google Drive or Microsoft's OneDrive. These are perfect for backing all your files while here at the Law School and also allow files to be cached locally on your computer when setup. These services will be available while you are a student.
Shortly after graduating the services provided by the University will be deactivated. You’ll need to migrate anything associated with an @wisc.edu account to another service. This includes documents on Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, and the email account. Click here for the service deactivation timeline and additional help.
