Accessibility and usability barriers

The following information is provided to help people with disabilities know what potential barriers may exist and to help people who support them.

Screen reader barriers limit accessibility for individuals using screen readers, such as people who are blind.

The main navigation has broken ARIA references. Some menus are not available via screen reader. Some courses lack alternative text or have skipped headings. The home page has a carousel that lacks appropriate context or specific descriptions of buttons and navigation for a screen reader user to use well. There are missing form labels, which rely only on placeholder text.

Some keyboard navigation barriers exist, creating annoyance for some users, such as people with motor disabilities.

Some hidden content receives keyboard focus. Some keyboard focus indicators are missing a left or right side.
