Learner Engagement Analytics Dashboard (LEAD) will be unavailable starting January 11, 2024
The Learner Engagement Analytics Dashboard (LEAD) will be unavailable starting January 11, 2024 due to significant changes in our data environment. We hope to be able to reprise/provide an alternative to LEAD in the future and will continue to explore and evaluate other tools and approaches.
Background
The Learner Engagement Analytics Dashboard (LEAD) is a course-level learning analytics dashboard that displays Canvas, Kaltura MediaSpace and Unizin Engage e-text data to instructors enrolled in Canvas.
What is happening, why and when?
The learning management system, Canvas, has re-architected their underlying data structure moving from a star schema to relational database for more modern operations. These data changes will require rebuilding in our local environment to ensure compatibility. Therefore, LEAD will be unavailable beginning on January 11, 2024 as we evaluate options.
