Microsoft 365 - Introducing new Outlook for Windows

The new Outlook for Windows brings the latest features, intelligent assisted capabilities and a new modern and simplified design to your Outlook app. You can tailor it to your style and do more with new Outlook for Windows This change can be previewed with the return of the Try New Outlook toggle.

How can you switch to the new version

If you are signed up as an Office Insider and running Beta Channel or Current Channel (Preview) builds of Microsoft 365 for Enterprise, all you need to do is slide the Try the New Outlook toggle located in the upper-right corner of your classic Outlook for Windows, and follow the onscreen instructions.

If you experience issues within new Outlook interface

Please contact Microsoft directly by using the feedback icon in the top right corner of the client. The DoIT Help Desk is unable to provide support for this preview version of Outlook. If you continue to experience problems/issues/missing features, we recommend you switch back to the standard version of Outlook.

How to switch back to standard version of Outlook

To switch back to the standard release and fully supported version of Outlook, toggle New Outlook setting to off to return to the standard version of Outlook.
