Adding new users to REDCap

To request a SMPH REDCap account, the person in question must have all their HIPAA and CITI certifications complete, and be added to the IRB(s). Then that person's supervisor should fill out the New SMPH REDCap Account Request survey.

When asked "Which systems", choose "REDCap (WISC (SMPH) - non-FDA Regulated)".

Once the account is created, notify an Admin DB administrator.

The current administrator of the Admin DB REDCap is Dan Fitch, but Courtney Fine and Jieun Song can also add users to the Admin DB.

How to add a user

Go to User Rights, and in the top box type their NetID in this box:

Then click on "Assign to role" and pick the role for that person. Students who are working with the core admins are in the "Data Coordinator" role, and the other groups should be self-explanatory.
