Creating a Lesson in Moodle

UW-Madison has adopted Canvas as its single, centrally supported learning management system. As of 6/1/2018, support for Desire2Learn (D2L) and most Moodle courses has been discontinued. Access to those courses has permanently ended. However, certain Moodle courses that are part of the Adanced Quizzing Content Functional Gaps project are still available on Moodle. Those courses are located on the Moodle Extension site.

4. Browse and modify the remaining settings as desired. Descriptions of each setting can be opened by clicking the question mark icon the right of the setting’s name.

5. When finished, click the Save and return to course button to return to your course homepage or the “Save and display” button to enter the lesson and add pages to it (see screenshot below for page you will be taken to after creating your Lesson)
