Specific Room Type Intended Use Statements:

Wellness rooms: Wellness rooms are private spaces where employees can rest, recharge, and take a short break from work (and life) stressors. Wellness rooms support activities such as meditation, prayer, yoga and quiet reading or listening to music with earphones. Wellness rooms can also be a helpful space for someone with a migraine, or an employee needing to lie down for a short time (e.g. 30 minutes).  Except for group prayer, wellness rooms should be used alone.  Food and drink are prohibited. No personal items should be left in the room.   Use is first come first served.  Use is limited to authorized building occupants.

Lactation rooms: Lactation rooms are intended for employee health/wellness needs including pumping breast milk and nursing, and management of migraines.  The room should not be used for work purposes.  To become a user of the lactation room, see your departmental administrator.
