How to change Database name in a Tableau Workbook
This document demonstrates how we can change the name of a database in a Tableau workbook.
Open your workbook in Tableau Desktop.
Then navigate to the Data Source tab at the bottom left corner:
Go through necessary authentication.
In Data Sources page, all databases are listed on the left hand side panel under "Connections:
You can either double-click the name or right-click the database you would like to change the name and select "Rename":
It makes the name editable:
Just write over that and hit enter. It will change it:
