Badger Data Access: Approvers - Reviewing Workflow for a Request
Workflow is the step-by-step approval chain that a request must move through and pass in order to be provisioned access. When a workflow completes, an Event is created in the user's Event History (such as provisioning access or denying a request and terminating its workflow).
As requests move through the various Workflow approval steps, each step and associated action is captured and displayed on the Approval Details page. Approvers at each level can review which actions were taken when, by whom, and any comments entered by approvers previous to them in the workflow.
The first step recorded in a Workflow is the action of the user submitting a request.

The submitted request is first routed to the user's Supervisor. The action taken by the Supervisor is recorded and displays for the next up approver as an additional row in the Workflow section of the Approval Details page.
Workflow history continues to be generated and recorded accordingly throughout the entirety of the chain.

The fields displayed include:

Workflow Statuses:
| Workflow Status | Description |

| Submitted | The request has been submitted |
| Approve | The approver approved and the workflow step is complete |
| Deny | The request was denied and the workflow has terminated |
| Submitter Pending | The request was pushed back and is pending re-submission by the user |
| Request Deleted | The request was pushed back and then deleted by the user or an administrator |
