Badger Data Access: Approvers - My Approvals Sections

This document provides an overview of the My Approvals sections that display on the My Roles landing page for approvers within the Badger Data Access application.

The Badger Data Access application is designed to display requests assigned to an approver on their My Roles landing page.

Each request is assigned a Request ID. Each individual role included in the request is assigned a Role ID. Multiple Role IDs may exist within a single Request.

Requests (potentially, bundles of roles) are automatically routed to Supervisors and Divisional Approvers (if applicable). After these levels of approval are complete, requests containing multiple roles are split and each individual role is routed to the proper Domain Steward for final approval.

Supervisors & Divisional Approvers:

When a Supervisor or Divisional Approver has pending approvals, they will show up in the Approvals Needed by You section of the My Roles landing page listed by Request ID.

Click the Details button to view and take action on the request.

Domain Stewards:

When a Domain Steward has pending approvals, they will show up in the Domain Steward Approvals Needed by You section of the My Roles landing page, listed by Role ID.

Click the Details button to view and take action on the request.

Note: It is possible for an approver to hold multiple positions within a workflow, for example a Domain Steward who is also a Supervisor. Each approval section will populate and route accordingly depending workflow stage.
