Authorization for the Advising Apps in MyUW

MyUW contains a number of apps used by advisors on campus.

What are the apps?

The primary MyUW app that advisors should use for their duties is the Advising Gateway. MyUW has other advising-related apps, but these predate the Advising Gateway and the Advising Gateway contains all features spread across the other apps. All of the advising related apps in MyUW that require authorization are:

  • Academic Advisors List of Advisees - with Notes
  • Advisee Lookup - with Notes
  • Advising Gateway

Advisor apps besides these have since been turned off. It is likely that in the future all apps besides the Advising Gateway will also be turned off.
