What will users experience?

• Users (excluding Madison users and UW Flexible Option users) will be shown a banner informing users of a System transition off of MyUW which will take place on June 11th
• my.wisc.edu/list-library will redirect to List Library's new external implementation and hosting.
• Users who had PI Financials Tool in their layout will no longer have this item in their layout.
• Courses app will appear in user layouts as a default (replacing MyCourses portlet).
  • New users in the MyCourses default audience and existing users in that audience who have not modified their layout will have Courses app tile in place of My Courses tile on next login.
  • Existing users in this default audience who have modified their layout will continue to have My Courses where it currently exists in their layout.

What will users experience?

• SOAR-eligible students will again be able to find Student Orientation in search results and add this content to their layouts if they wish.
• Starting May 4, SOAR-eligible students will again receive Student Orientation in their layouts as a default item.

• Madison employees will see a banner message promoting professional development opportunities provided by UW-Madison HR.
• Unspecified changes to Preparing for SOAR TRAD app

• Users may notice the absence of the Student Orientation tile. This tile will be restored in mid May.

• MyUW will no longer set .wisc.edu Google Analytics cookies. This means MyUW will no longer contribute to the cookie surplus that sometimes breaks user's access to .wisc.edu websites and applications.

• MyUW no longer uses Google Analytics, and so no longer contributes to .wisc.edu cookie load, specifically in the /portal context. (Google Analytics is not yet removed from /web in this deployment).
• We adjusted font sizes, line heights, and font weights
• MyUW now underlines the styling on the link in the MYUW-004 error message.
• Tool tips now use the Red Hat font
• Hierarchical headings added to the empty layout case
