MyUW - How to Bookmark MyUW in Your Web Browser

You must use some care when bookmarking MyUW in a web browser. This document describes how to reliably create a bookmark.

Here are the two ways we recommend creating a bookmark for MyUW:

Manually create a bookmark in your preferred supported browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
- For MyUW Madison, bookmark https://my.wisc.edu
- For other Universities of Wisconsin campuses, bookmark https://my.wisconsin.edu for HRS and https://myapps.wisconsin.edu/ for your campus dashboard.
After you have logged in, use your browser's automatic bookmarking feature. The URL will be similar to https://my.wisconsin.edu/portal/render.userLayoutRootNode.uP

Do not bookmark the campus selection or login screens. You will only bookmark the login page(s) instead of your MyUW Homepage.
