Using ClickShare AV setup
Several rooms in Science Hall have ClickShare AV setups, for use with videoconferencing and/or AV presentations. These instructions describe how to connect and use this equipment.
Please note:
- If you will be participating in a remote meeting, you will need to use the ClickShare directions.
- If you are not participating in a remote meeting, you can still use ClickShare directions, or you can use the HDMI directions to connect directly to the TV.
ClickShare directions
Connect To ClickShare:
- Power on the TV and use the TV remote to set input to HDMI 1. Wait for the ClickShare display to appear on the TV.
- Connect the ClickShare Button to your laptop.
- On your laptop, browse to the ClickShare drive.
- Launch the ClickShare application (ClickShare_for_Windows or ClickShare_for_Mac).
- Wait for the LED ring on the ClickShare button to turn static white, then click the Button to show your display on the TV. The LED ring on the button will turn static red.
- You can click the Button again to stop showing your display on the screen (LED ring will turn static white).
For Remote Meeting:

When You Are Done:
- If you have not already done so, stop showing your display by clicking the ClickShare Button (LED ring will turn static white).
- Disconnect the Button from your laptop.
- Power off the TV.
HDMI directions
- Power on the TV and use the TV remote to set input to HDMI 2.
- Connect the HDMI cable to your laptop.
- If necessary, go to your display settings and set to mirror display.
- When you are done, disconnect the HDMI cable and power off the TV.
