We recommend using an HDMI connection whenever possible. VGA connection is also available if needed.

If your device does not have an HDMI or VGA port, you will need to bring an adapter to connect to this system. We recommend using a USB-C to HDMI adapter if necessary.

To use the podium AV system:

1. Connect cable(s) to your device.
   • HDMI: Connect HDMI cable to your device.
   • VGA: Connect VGA cable to your device. If audio is needed, connect audio cord to your device’s headphone jack.
2. Press the HDMI or VGA button on the podium control pad. Control pad should automatically switch to ON.
   • If control pad does not automatically switch to ON, press the ON button.
3. Projector should turn on and connect to your device. Video should appear on projector, and audio should also connect through HDMI or headphone connection.
4. Please turn system off when done – press OFF button on podium control pad.

Troubleshooting

• Check that display control on your device is set to duplicate/mirror or extend.
• Check that mute is not active on podium control pad.
• Check that audio is not muted on your device. Be sure to check main volume control and check in the application you are using.
• Adjust volume up on your device and/or volume knob on podium control pad.
• Check that audio output on your device is set to the correct output:
  • HDMI: Audio output should go through Extron device.
  • VGA: Audio output on your device should go through the headphones output.
• PLEASE do not change inputs or controls inside cabinet. All controls can be managed using the podium control pad.
